Hypnotherapy can definitely help in losing weight. I regularly help clients with this issue and have had some really good results. Hypnotherapy helps the client find out if there is an emotional background reason for their weight gain. If there is hypnotherapy can help the client confront and deal with this issue and also give suggestions to the subconscious that eating more healthily or smaller portions would be a good thing. Occasionally I also give clients negative associations with particular foods. If they say eat a whole packet of biscuits every day then I could give suggestions that biscuits will no longer appeal to them for some reason however I tend to make my work positive in outlook as this tends to be more effective. Hypnotherapy can also help clients to feel more motivated to lose weight through regular light exercise.
